Illuminating Lee Krasner: Cian Griffin’s Lee at the Park Theatre

I so enjoyed the beautifully-acted play, Lee, by Cian Griffin, at the @parktheatrelondon, about the painter Lee Krasner.

And not only because Griffin's play, set in 1969, and my father John Jones's 1966 interview with Krasner, included among the 20 interviews with artists in The American Art Tapes (which I edited), illuminate each other.

Bravo to the cast: Helen Goldwyn, Will Bagnall and Tom Andrews, to director Jason Moore, and to set designer Ian Nicholas.

The play runs until 18 October.
